About Silver Valley’s Pembroke Welsh Corgi Puppies
What a delightful medium-sized breed! The Corgi is said to be an agreeable house dog who does not force its attentions where they are not wanted!
Our Corgis are mostly red+white or black, tan with white markings, occasionally sable + white.
Our puppies are all tested for DM before they leave. DM is a genetic defect that can cause a Corgi to lose control of their hindquarters generally not before 9 years of age. DM is rated as follows…
- “A” or clear. Dog does not carry the trait.
- “B” or carrier/not affected. Dog carries the trait, however will not ever be affected.
- “C” or carrier/affected. Dog carries the trait and in all likelihood will contract the disease.
Currently our Corgis are either A or B, with our breeding program aimed toward the goal of never producing a “C” and an end result of completely eliminating the trait.
