Mak – $29,000
Mak
Mak is a beautiful purebred Friesian gelding registered with the Friesian Heritage and Sporthorse International. He is fun, sweet, and versatile, with loads of common sense and a great temperment. He stands 15.3 hands tall and is 6 years old.
Mak has quite a bit of driving training, in the cart or buggy. He has been out on state roads and through town with all the traffic and commotion.
Under saddle, Mak is steady and willing. He stands well to mount from the ground or a mounting block and moves off quietly. He is started in dressage, with a good solid walk-trot-canter. He is currently working on leg yields and shoulder-in.
Mak jogs nice and slow, but he will also show off an impressive Friesian trot when pushed. He rides English and Western, on a loose rein or on the bit and collects up nicely. He is mostly worked in a snaffle, but he also does well in a curb bit.
Mak has the best barn manners, he’ll stand to be brushed, bathed, and played with. He loads and hauls well and gets along with other horses.

This tall gentle gelding has all the foundation needed to excel in whatever discipline wanted. He has some basic dressage and training, he moves off leg pressure and is started in lateral movements. He’ll walk, trot, and canter circles on either lead, and has good transitions. We believe with his stretchy trot and good mind he is a lovely dressage prospect.
Lightning has been to Salt Fork State Park for the weekend, standing tied on the highline overnight. He handles trails and new experiences with ease. He’s great with kids, giving them rides and letting them lead, brush, and play around him safely. He has also ponied colts, and is rarely fazed by anything. Great with the obstacle course as well as loading, tying, and trailering.
If you’re looking for a driving horse, Lightning does that as well. He stands to hitch and has been on the roads and through town in the buggy and cart.
