In addition to our lovable puppies, we also breed a number of horses. These include Haflingers, Friesians, Dutch Harness horses, Standard-Bred, Belgians and Hackney horses. We enjoy breeding and working with these types of horses for their aptitude as pleasure horses, performance horses, and harness horses.
Currently we have for sale Haflingers, Friesan crosses, Standardbreds, Draft horses and ponies.
Our horses are at different stages of their training according to their ages and how long they have been with us. We train for a variety of disciplines including Pleasure, driving and riding, trail riding, basic dressage, single and double harness driving, and the heavier work such as manure spreading or mowing and baling our supply of hay and keeping our pastures clipped.
All our trained horses have been drove and ridden on the state road (we live right beside it). They are exposed to anything from bicycles to large semis. They drive to town, stand at crossroads and stoplights, and tie at hitching rails. Trail riding experience includes up and down hills and crossing creeks and ravines.

Looking for an awesome dressage prospect with loads of common sense and a great foundation? Nicky could be your man! He has been on our farm for a year now, and we have enjoyed every minute.
Nicky’s riding training has been mostly Dressage focused, and he has a great walk-trot-canter, he knows his leads, and is learning leg-yields and shoulder-in. He will jog around nice and slow, but push him, and you’ll find a big stretchy trot with lots of extension. He has the best rocking horse canter around, and he’ll walk to canter on either lead. He listens to seat, leg,and voice aids, and he’s got great brakes.
Nicky has also been ridden western quite a bit, and he’s been all over the trails at Saltfork State Park. He’s been on overnight camping trips, and stood well tied at the highline.
Trailering is no problem, he is easy to load and hauls well. He stands in cross ties, and is a total kitten to handle on the ground.
Nicky has lots of driving training in the two wheeled cart and the carriage. He’s been on the road and through town. Other horses, ponies, barking dogs, and cattle do not bother him at all.

Our registered Hackney Stallion. His dam is a Hackney pony names Sparkling Miss and his sire the well-known stallion Brooklawn’s Cavalier. He stands 13.2 hands and is a real pleasure to drive. He has been a blast to work with and always taught our children how to drive a spirited horse. At 18 years old he is still in great shape.
His service fee is $300 live cover only. With an additional $10 per day mare care fee.
