We couldn’t be more thrilled!
We bought two female Welsh Corgis from Silver Maple Puppies in October 2018. Because we live in Saudi Arabia and the dogs needed to meet extensive health requirements for import, the Schlabachs graciously agreed to keep the girls through that period and do all the necessary vet work. Neva was wonderful to communicate with, very competent and proactive. I had approached several breeders prior to finding Silver Maple, and all others were hesitant about the process and the extra time needed to keep the puppies (until 16 weeks). The other breeders made it seem like an impossible task, bringing puppies back overseas with us.
Approximately thirty days after making the deposit online, I flew to Ohio. I was very pleased to find the pups and their parents so shiny, healthy, and happy at Silver Maple’s clean and well-organised farm. Rest assured this is not one of those “puppy mills” one hears horror stories about: the Schlabachs obviously care well for their dogs and horses. At my request, we’d tested one of the females for all three of the most well-known genetic diseases in the Pembroke (DM, vWD1, and EIC), and I’m thrilled to say she tested “clear” (not even a carrier) for all three! Both dogs are very true to type, straight-legged and bright-eyed, and even cuter and prettier in person than in the pics and videos.
There is not a single negative thing I could say about my experience with Silver Maple. If you are looking for a top quality dog (or two!) from caring and generous people with excellent customer service skills, look no further. They made a challenging process infinitely easier–and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our girls!

Rita Mae Brown is a year old! Rita joined our family when she was 11 weeks old. It’s hard to believe she’s already a year old and 100 pounds. Our girl has brought love and joy to our family. Rita is a healthy and happy girl with a lot of energy. Thank you Silver Maple for breeding such a sweet and well-tempered puppy.

I purchased our Newfie and received him in March. We live in Nevada so he had quite the journey. The shipping team they used were fabulous. We just had our 3rd set of shots today! Vet was impressed with how healthy he is. Yogi is now almost 4 months old and weighs in at 49 lbs. we have him in puppy classes and is the most well behaved pupil in class.. thank you so much! This has been a great experience!!
Can’t say enough good things about my experience buying with Silver Maple! Danny and Neva were incredibly responsive. Danny was flexible and understanding when the holidays made it challenging to schedule a PPE visit, and then when a terrible storm disrupted the delivery of her blankets for her journey. That’s all before I even mention how wonderfully my horse was started under the saddle! She’s only four and cool as a cucumber. The driver said she was absolutely no drama loading and unloading, even with weather delays and an extended layover. She’s an absolute peach with a great mind. I am so happy to get started with her. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! We are so in love with our puppy. We had a great experience from start to finish. We took a quick drive to pick him up, and we felt supported along the way. We were able to see firsthand that our puppy, and all the other pups, were certainly cared for. My children love him so much! He’s a great new addition to our growing family.
They answered all of our questions, even we when got back home. When things came up, they were flexible and able to work with us. We have, and will certainly recommend them to anyone looking to add a fur baby to their family.

Our Hanky turned a year old today! We were so happy to have our corgi puppy come to us. The shipping went exceptionally well and he was transported safely and on time. We are so grateful Silver Maple. He has brought so much joy to our family.
My kids and I adopted Becca. She was retired and looking for a good home. She was well cared for, socialized, friendly, and loving. She is perfect!! I get so many compliments about well behaved she is and how beautiful Becca is. Becca has been such a wonderful addition to our family!

I recently lost my corgi Sampson and was looking for a puppy. I stumbled on Silver Maple on line and fell for Knight when I saw his picture. It was worth the drive to meet him and the good people of Silver Maple. All I can say is they breed well, treat their dogs nicely, and produce fantastic puppies if Quigley is an example. He’s won the hearts of everyone he’s met. (PS – I’ve had corgis since 1989 and Quigley is #5.) I definitely recommend Silver Maple if you’re seeking a corgi.
